Mr. Johnson practiced with the firm from the time of his admission to the Bar in 1950 until December 31, 1995, when he retired and became of counsel to the firm. His primary areas of practice were public utility, cooperative, estate and probate law. He was educated at the New Mexico Military Institute, George Washington University, and the University of Texas, where he received his B.B.A. and LL.B. degrees. He has been active on the Legal Committees of the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association and the National Telephone Cooperative Association, as well as in the Public Utility Sections of both the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas. He played a vital role in the development of both the electric and telephone cooperatives in the State of Texas. Mr. Johnson is also active in civic and church related matters.
